Tone at the top means ethical behavior and clarity need to be maintained in the workplace. For an organization, it is very important to maintain ethical conduct. Actually, not only ethical conduct but also it includes honesty and openness in the workplace. Board of directors needs to maintain the clarity and they have to be free from anything of hidden rules. Most importantly, it should be the topmost priority of business management. There is no doubt that the management tries their level best to maintain clarity and ethical conducts in the organization (COATES, 2019). Still, there are some ethical issues which are literally unavoidable and the management sometimes also becomes unable to mitigate those issues.
